Located in the heart of Fort Greene, this project was a full-gut renovation with an unconventional past—the original structure featured a street-level storefront, a relic of its commercial roots. Our clients, a dynamic artist and musician duo with European and New York influences, envisioned a modern, open space that could grow alongside their family while incorporating state-of-the-art technology and a distinct creative edge.

We embraced their bold, contemporary vision, stripping the house down to its raw architectural elements to create a minimalist backdrop for an ever-evolving collection of art and design. The interior balances industrial simplicity with high-tech sophistication, featuring poured concrete floors with radiant heating for warmth and comfort, and a fully automated home system controlling lighting, shades, and entertainment.
The layout was reimagined to accommodate both family living and investment potential, with the top floor designed as a separate rental unit, maximizing functionality and long-term flexibility. The result is a striking, modern home that effortlessly blends art, technology, and everyday life—a true reflection of its creative, forward-thinking owners.
